- Dilsever works in English and Arabic, can be used with a keyboard, and always shows text next to audio.

1. Our Goal
We want everyone to be able to learn Turkish with Dilsever, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
We work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C. We have not reached that level everywhere yet, and the known limitations below are the gaps we are aware of.
2. What We Have Done
This is what is in place today.
- The interface is available in English and Arabic, and the Arabic interface uses a right-to-left layout.
- Every button that shows only an icon has a label that screen readers announce, in the language you use the interface in.
- You can use the site with a keyboard. Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them while they are open, and the Escape key closes them.
- Text is always shown next to audio.
- Practice sessions and drills have no time limits.
- Most animations follow the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- We checked the public pages with automated accessibility tooling (Lighthouse), and we reviewed the code on September 13, 2026.
3. Known Limitations
Some parts of Dilsever do not yet work as well as they should. We know about the following, and we are working on them.
- Most screens inside the app share the same browser tab title, so the title does not tell you which screen you are on.
- Some answer and search fields are labeled only by their placeholder text, which disappears once you start typing.
- The keyboard shortcuts in practice (number keys, Space and Enter) cannot be turned off yet.
- After you answer, keyboard focus is not moved to the result.
- Replies in the AI tutor chat are not announced automatically by screen readers.
- Turkish words in practice are not marked as Turkish, so a screen reader may read them with an English or Arabic voice.
