Built for the Real Turkish Journey

Dilsever is built and run by Ahmet D., an independent developer who trades as DomiLabs. He is learning Turkish himself and uses Dilsever for his own study.

It began with a textbook that taught suffixes as a list to memorize. Dilsever builds each word in front of you instead, one suffix at a time, so you can see how the pieces join and what each one adds.

Here is how the content is made and checked. Word meanings are written for Dilsever. English and Arabic meanings are checked by a second model against dictionary entries recorded with each review; Russian meanings are checked by a second model against the Turkish and the English and Arabic meanings. A translation that has not passed review is still shown for reading, but it is kept out of graded practice. Lessons name their reference works, and blog posts list their sources at the end of each article.

Turkish is fundamentally different from Indo-European languages. It does not rely on rigid preposition clusters or arbitrary gender rules. Instead, it builds meaning through precise, rhythmic suffix chains governed by vowel harmony.

Most language learning apps treat words like "ev", "evler", "evlerim", and "evlerimde" as four isolated vocabulary items to memorize in a vacuum. This brute-force approach leads directly to cognitive overload.

Dilsever takes the opposite approach: we teach the seams. When you understand the root and the joins, you can work out forms you have never seen instead of memorizing each one. Our interface is designed to get out of the way of the language and make its mechanical beauty clear.

Dilsever teaches one language on purpose. An app built for many languages shares one format across them. Building for Turkish alone means every tool follows how Turkish works: the suffix builder, the verb drills and the review schedules.
